How Does a Bag Filter Housing Works?
The industrial bag filter housing features a cylindrical structure, typically constructed from 304 or 316 L stainless steel. This filtration unit is designed to hold one or multiple filter bags, contingent upon the required flow rates. The liquid intended for filtration enters from the top of the housing and flows into the bag. A restrainer basket supports the filter bag, managing the mechanical stresses involved. As the fluid traverses the filter bag, impurities are retained within it. Subsequently, the purified liquid exits through the bottom nozzle of the filter housing, devoid of contaminants. During the filtration process, the pressure on the upstream side progressively rises until the filter bag becomes entirely obstructed. At this point, it is essential to either halt the operation or switch to an alternative filter body using a valve. To replace the filter bag, simply open the cover.
